Beginner’s Sessions

When?

6.45pm every Monday evening,
During Spring/summer, we also organise sessions starting at 7.30pm, aimed at getting beginners ready for a summer 5k run.

Where?

We meet in St Piers Lane within the Young Epilepsy centre.
St Piers Lane, Lingfield, Surrey, nearest postcode RH7 6PW
(Just look out for the other runners when you arrive). Ask for Trevor Crowhurst or for a committee member if it is your first time.

What?

Run in a safe environment accompanied by friendly experienced runners with an easy to follow training plan specifically aimed at beginners or runners who want to improve their speed. This is a no pressure, fun training program.
It’s a simple route, up and down the lane, accompanied by experienced runners; so no one gets lost, or left behind. It’s basically a very safe, friendly and encouraging environment in which to build your running confidence. There is no cost for the first few sessions, so you are welcome to come along and try for free, although we would like you to join the club if you decide to attend more regularly.
