Greathed Gallop 5
The Greathed Gallop 5 is a very scenic and challenging multi-terrain race located in the rural south east corner of Surrey.
Organised and marshalled by the Lingfield Running club, The Greathed Gallop 5 mile is less hilly than the Dry Hill 10, but is very scenic in its own right.
The route is fully signposted and marshalled by our Lingfield club runners.
Note – There is one road crossing en route which must be tackled twice. There will be a team of marshals in place to assist you at this point and please listen to any instructions provided.
There is no cut off time for the race but one of our club runners will follow behind the last runner to ensure no one gets left behind! All runners receive a warm welcome back at the race headquarters hall where tea, coffee, and more importantly, a good selection of home made cakes, are available to purchase.
After costs, all proceeds from the race and cake sales will go to charity. This year, we are supporting the Lingfield Scouts and Lingfield Marathon Minibus. Two very worthy local groups.
