Post Christmas party: Annual gathering held in January to beat those New Year blues. Many thanks to everyone who joined us at The Star for the 2025 gathering. It was great to see so many and it looked like everyone had a great time.
Annual London Marathon pasta party: Usually held on the Thursday evening before the marathon. In 2025 this will be from 8pm, Thursday 24 April.
Summer BBQ – Date and place to be confirmed
Annual Christmas Handicap race – takes place December each year. For a small entry fee, all runners receive ‘prizes’ in the VSSC afterwards. The 2024 winner was Steve Ackroyd and he now holds the Matt Bennett trophy for one year. The club also raised over £500 on the day for suicide prevention charity, PAPYRUS.
Pub Quiz: normally it’s the first Thursday of the month at The Star Pub, Church Road, Lingfield. Meet at 8pm for a 8.15pm start. Next session will be March 6th.

We are a friendly and inclusive running club, catering for all ages and abilities of runners over the age of 18. Why not come along and give one of our weekly club runs a try to meet our members and see what we are about? There is no obligation to join!
